SecureVault Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. SecureVault will not share or distribute any of your personal information without your permission. All information provided to SecureVault is kept in the strictest confidence.
Personal Information
SecureVault collects only a limited amount of personal information. Our files may include your User Name, User ID, and e-mail address (optional). We will use your e-mail address in the event we need to communicate with you about your account, and it is therefore recommended. However, we will never contact you unless the correspondence is requested by you or related to servicing your account.
Protection of Your Data
We would like to stress that our data encryption technology is the main failsafe in protecting outside sources (or SecureVault Staff) from accessing your confidential data backups in plain form. Your private encryption passphrase is the only way to unlock your backup. Login information is 100% proprietary and confidential, and if you lose this passphrase, you will not be able to restore your off-site backup. SecureVault Technicians have access to the encrypted files, but the content will be illegible without your passphrase.
Our Privacy Policy is our commitment not to sell or share your contact information with any entity.

This policy may be altered at any time to accommodate new online backup features and service changes, or to reflect concerns of SecureVault and its customers.
